We developed the ‘Product Image Gallery Guideline’ to consistently express Samsung Electronics’ global brand identity and strategy on samsung.com—a critical touchpoint for customer communication.

Recognizing that product photography is a key element of communication, this guideline ensures all images are captured, edited, and utilized in alignment with the brand strategy. With the adoption of a new brand strategy, the communication focus has shifted from product-centric (features, technology) content to consumer-centric (benefits, value) content, reflecting a stronger emphasis on delivering consumer-oriented value.

To support this shift, we introduced a refreshed image guideline aimed at fostering collaboration among key stakeholders—including Samsung Electronics GMO, product departments, Cheil Worldwide, art directors, and photographers. This approach ensures alignment with the brand's value and facilitates the creation of meaningful, consumer-focused content that effectively communicates the intended message.
