Wide Display UX Concept Development for AI-Driven Autonomous Vehicles
We worked with KIA and a global IT company to define and develop the most outstanding AI available in automobile.
Creates the best brain that exists in reality
The wide display in autonomous vehicles is a key element in enhancing functionality and user experience. As autonomous driving technology advances, vehicles are evolving beyond mere modes of transportation into versatile mobile spaces for various activities. In this context, the size, quality, and functionality of displays have become more critical than ever. With drivers gaining more time for non-driving-related tasks (NDRT), wide displays must support a range of multitasking activities, from watching videos to conducting meetings and browsing information, all while providing immersive visuals, user satisfaction, and intuitive controls.
In collaboration with Kia Motors, we have redefined a new ‘Wide Display UX Concept’ tailored for autonomous driving environments. To address issues like information overload, touch misoperations, and insufficient feedback from traditional vehicle displays, we integrated the newly developed H******* UX, significantly improving usability and enabling more flexible handling of a broader range of information and functions.
Furthermore, we developed a fully functional prototype featuring a wide display integrated with a next-generation IVI system, covering both hardware and software. Working closely with a global AI tech company, we created an AI-powered environment that integrates user data collected from interior and exterior cameras. Additionally, we introduced an innovative interface that responds to new input methods, such as proximity sensors and voice recognition.
With this, we have delivered a distinctive wide display solution that elevates the user experience in autonomous vehicles to a new level.
